Free Business Start Up Course - Could this be right for you?

Construction Leeds & Leeds Metropolitan University are currently offering training packages for people who are currently unemployed or under threat of redundancy. 

The first of these courses to run is a ‘Business Start Up’ Course which aims to give students a better understanding of the requirements necessary for such a venture.

The course consists of a four day training programme focussing on practical aspects of starting up a business, such as; market research, sales and marketing, operations, business planning, legal structures and finance.    

Mentoring from a Business Coach will follow the 4 day course to assist with developing business ideas and 3 month membership to  Leeds Met Innovation Showcase or Leeds Met Business Incubator providing access to valuable business networks, funding and business support and use of a city centre address.
