The Leeds Cultural Partnership aims to deliver the aims within the culture theme of the Vision for Leeds. The Vision states that: ' Leeds will be a city with a vibrant and distinctive cultural life - a welcoming city which is internationally recognised as a centre of cultural excellence and provides cultural opportunities for everyone.'

The aims of the partnership are to:

• provide cultural opportunities for everyone;
• develop talent;
• achieve recognition as a leading artistic, cultural and sporting centre; and
• create first-class cultural facilities and experiences.
