In preparation for discussion around development of the
Vision for Leeds 2011 to 2030, members of Leeds Cultural Partnership
have revised our vision for culture.
Significant progress is being made by the city in terms
of building new and improved cultural facilities and more is to come, but
members propose the following broad priorities to align future
activity. They are :
Creative capital– building people’s skills, creativity and
capacity to innovate and achieve;
Culture without barriers – facilitating everyone to enjoy,
to have and take part;
A vibrant cultural place - maintaining a high quality and
attractive cultural offer;
A distinctive story – successfully telling the world
about the culture of Leeds.
