The Leeds Climate Charter is an opportunity for your organisation to take the first step in managing climate change; both the opportunities and the risks it may present to your organisation.
In return for your commitment you will have access to sources of help and information, receive recognition for your successes and join an ever increasing network of like minded organisations.
By signing this Charter,
Acknowledges:
- That climate change will profoundly influence the environmental, social and economic conditions in Leeds and will continue to be a critical factor throughout the 21st Century;
- That action needs to take place at all levels (global, national, regional and local) and that all organisations should take responsibility for reducing CO2 emissions.
Commits to take on the climate change challenge by:

appropriate tools to understand the impacts of climate change on our organisation, e.g. flooding, supply chain disruptions, overheating.
: regularly communicate progress to customers, shareholders and clients and report emissions levels annually.
