Summer is here and so is the latest edition of our newsletter featuring
World Environment Day, biodiversity and volunteering.
As well as the usual round-up of events and news, Environment Leeds focuses on activities that help protect and maintain Leeds' natural environment. World Environment Day earlier this month was a rallying call for people to stop activities that are harming biodiversity. Many of these activities also contribute to climate change. So read on to find out about what people and organisations are doing to reduce their impact, with plenty of ideas, volunteering opportunities and projects for you to get involved in.
