Welcome

Welcome to the website of the Leeds Strategic Plan. The plan is a significant milestone in partnership working in Leeds as it is the first time that the council has agreed, with its partners, and with government, a single shared set of outcomes and priorities for the city. The Leeds Strategic Plan also embraces the Local Area Agreement for the city.

The plan was launched on 16 July 2008, and further information can be found via the menu on the left hand side.

The Leeds Local Area Agreement was signed in March 2006 and will run for three years. It enables a number of partners across the city to work more effectively together to improve outcomes for local people. The LAA is an agreement between central government, the local authority, and local partners.

The LAA supports our efforts to work together to address that issues that matter most to local people, giving us greater flexibility to direct resources where they are needed most.
