Our Global Village exhibition

Leeds Met will host an exhibition entitled "Our Global Village", celebrating the Olympics of the past and the future, featuring memorabilia and inspirational photographic displays.

Saturday 25th July
Woodhouse Moor, Leeds

The University of Leeds invite you to a unique morning of sport and family activity. Activities get underway at 9.00 am with a 5km event around Woodhouse Moor, Hyde Park which is open to all. This will be followed by a 1.5kmrelay race for under 16’s and a 1.5kmwheelchair race.
There will also be the opportunity to try out events such as standing long jump, foamjavelins, mini hurdles and a Speed, Agility and Quickness
circuit. There will be a range of prizes available for the best performances across different agegroups. Coaches fromLeeds City Athletics club,
Leeds Metropolitan University & the University of Leeds will be on hand to instruct and oversee.
