The managing director of a Leeds-based supplier of exhibition and display graphics is watching the Olympic Games more closely than most. Ross Horsman's company won the contract to produce and deliver all of Team GB's marketing and branding materials for the Beijing event.
Show Off Media, based in Pudsey, was chosen by the British Olympic Association (BOA) to supply an array of visual products from outdoor flags and displays to signage and large format graphics. Examples of the firm's work are currently on show around the Olympic village, on branded vehicles and television sets as well as being on show at all the major events Team GB athletes are competing at.
Mr Horsman said he was delighted to be associated with such a high profile organisation and believed the contract had put his business on the national stage.
"This a huge feather in the cap for the business as it proves we are trusted by large international players in our field. I have personally worked with the BOA for several years and produced the branding for Team GB when they competed in Athens in 2004.
"Now, to win this contract with my own company is really satisfying. It's an honour to be involved with such a prestigious project in more ways than just financial – the profile, the case studies and the relationship all assist in building our company into being one of the leaders in our profession."
Show Off Media produces a wide range of products and also offers a comprehensive project management service. The firm was told by the BOA that its creative approach and flexibility was a key factor in its decision to choose it as a partner.
