Leeds takes a broad approach to addressing the issue of regenerating disadvantaged areas of the city. The approach is absed on achieving the concept of 'narrowing the gap' between the most disadvantaged people and communities and the rest of the city. Narrowing the gap is one of the aims of the Vision for Leeds 2004 to 2020.
