Visual Awareness in Sport Course

A half day awareness course covering how to work with individuals with a visual impairment, and how to adapt certain sports for individuals with visual impairments. Includes Goalball training.

EFDS Disability Inclusion Training Course
Saturday 10th July 2010 - 9:30-4:30
Brigshaw High School & Language College, Leeds/Castleford.
A full day course to give you the skills to include all disabled people in your sports and activity sessions whatever their ability level. The course is a combination of a 3hr theory session and a 3hr practical session. Ideal for coaches wanting new ideas for inclusive sessions.

Deaf Awareness Training
Tuesday 5th October 2010 – 9:30am-3:30pm
FDSO Head Office – Ossett, Wakefield
A full day awareness course covering an introduction to
communication, terminology, culture and finger spelling. The course
will be specifically tailored to the sports environment.
